Real models have curves

Occasionally the world of high fashion does something that actually makes a feminist like me proud. "Plus-size" model Crystal Renn is featured in a couture fashion spread in the Australian version of Harper's Bazaar. (I put plus size in quotes because you all know how I feel about that term.)

I applaud the magazine because this is not some special "big girls need love too" kind of issue. It's just a gorgeous curvy girl rocking couture.

Unfortunately, I'm not really digging some of the clothes or awkward poses in the spread, but Renn is beautiful nonetheless.
