2009: A Craptastic Year

Let's face it: 2009 sucked for most of us. Photographer Lilly McElroy (who's been featured in Bust magazine and right here on GeorgiaMae.com, wants to help you turn your crappy year into art. 

In response to the lost jobs, lost homes, major and minor tragedies, personal frustrations, heartbreak, etc., McElroy is working on a project titled “ 2009 Was A Rough Year.” 

 If you'd like to be part of it, here's what you need to do: 

1. Take a picture that represents the worst, most heartbreaking, or most frustrating moment you experienced in 2009.

2. E-mail it to her at lilly.mcelroy@gmail.com

3. Include as much or as little additional information as you would like. (You may remain anonymous if you would like.)

 McElroy plans to create a slide show and a website.
